Three people were arrested on prostitution charges during two events Monday night.

Fatima Lionaa, 31, of Honolulu, was arrested at 7:15 p.m. at the Royal Kona Resort.

Lt. Sherry Bird of the Area II Vice section said her officers monitor online sites for offers of prostitution.

One of the officers answered a posting, Bird said, and Lionaa responded.

She was arrested at the scene.

A man and a woman from Milwaukee were arrested on suspicion of prostitution at 5:53 p.m. at room 219 at the Kona Islander Inn & Hotel.

The investigation is continuing into the second two arrests, Bird said.
